Tim's career is distinguished by service at the highest levels of tactical and protective operations. He served as a Counter Sniper for Vice President Gore, a member of the Counter Assault Team for President Bush, and as a Secret Service Sniper Liaison. A graduate of the FBI National Academy, he completed an exceptional roster of specialized schools, including FBI Firearms Instructor, FBI SWAT School, FBI Sniper School, NYPD ESU Tactical School, NYPD Dignitary Protection School, and the DEA Clandestine Laboratory School.
His training and certifications extend across nearly every tactical discipline: Tactical Maritime and Ship Boarding and SWAT operations in a CBRNE environment (both through DHS), Incident Command and Field Force Operations, High Angle and Confined Space Rescue, and Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC). He is also a certified Krav Maga instructor and has completed numerous seminars in gang enforcement, anti-terrorism, intelligence, and drug trafficking — expertise he now channels into building Upfront's training programs.
Beyond his public service, Tim has provided personal and event security across the private sector for a notable roster of clients, including MTV, the Discovery Channel, Loews Movie Theaters, the National Association of Home Builders, the Prime Minister of Singapore, Mike Tyson, Donatella Versace, Diana Ross, and a range of other sports, entertainment, and corporate figures. As Assistant Director of Training Services, he applies this rare combination of elite tactical credentials and real-world protective experience to develop and lead the firm's training capabilities for its team and clients.
